Fabrizio Romano updates on Arsenal's interest in Lucas Paqueta
Arsenal are not considering a move for Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta at the current point of time, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners have recently been linked with the Brazil international with suggestions that Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of him.
There have been talks of a potential €55 million bid on the table, but Romano has insisted that Paqueta is not a priority for the Gunners.
The reputed journalist added that the Gunners are working secretly behind the scenes, but there could be some transfer activity going forward.
While Romano could not specify any midfield targets for the club, the Italian said that the Gunners are likely to sign a big-name winger.
They were keen on landing Raphinha from Leeds United earlier this summer, but were put off after a bidding battle from rivals Chelsea.
Raphinha eventually rejected the Blues to join Barcelona instead which may have provided relief for some of the club's supporters.
