Man Utd provide injury update on Raphael Varane

Manchester United have revealed that Raphael Varane was only left out of the squad against Crystal Palace as a precaution.
The Frenchman sustained a knock in training earlier this month, and he has subsequently missed back-to-back friendlies.
Varane was initially anticipated to face Palace at the MCG, but he was nowhere to be seen in the XI or the bench.
United have now disclosed that the decision was only precautionary. He will continue to training with the squad as usual.
Aside from Varane, James Garner was also missing. The midfielder has not played any part in the club's pre-season tour.
He sustained an injury early on, and United don't want to take a risk with him, though he is in training with his teammates.
United have one more friendly in Australia against Aston Villa before they return to Europe for two more pre-season games.
They are scheduled to face Atletico Madrid in Norway on July 30, and 24 hours later, they host Rayo Vallecano at home.
