Man Utd make Ruben Neves transfer decision

Manchester United have no plans of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves during the current transfer window.

The Red Devils recently agreed a fee with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong, but the 25-year-old has refused to accept personal terms.

United have not given up on him just yet, but they could be forced to look for alternatives if De Jong does not change his stance.

Neves has been regularly mentioned as a target for United, but The Athletic report that he is not on the club's radar this summer.

The Portugal international has been linked with United for several years, but the hierarchy are no longer looking into a deal for him.

Neves has been superb with his technical attributes, but United feel he does not have the 'mobility' required to play under Erik ten Hag.

United have a similar stance on Leicester City's Youri Tielemans. The Belgian is said to lack mobility and top speed to suit their tactics.
