Man Utd quoted fee to sign Fabian Ruiz

Manchester United will need to trigger the release clause of Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz to sign him.

The Red Devils have been determined to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona in recent months, but the Dutchman is reluctant to join them.

United already have an agreement in place with the Catalan giants, but De Jong has not shown any intention of accepting personal terms.

He is still waiting for the Blaugrana to settle his outstanding wages, but even then, there are no guarantees that he would choose the Red Devils.

Chelsea are also interested in landing his signature this summer, and they have the edge, having qualified for next season's Champions League.

Hence, United may need to look at alternatives and Il Mattino claim that the club are already looking into a possible deal for Napoli's Ruiz.

They have made contact with his representatives, but it is quite clear that Napoli won't sell him for less than his €30 million release clause.
