James Maddison prefers Arsenal or Tottenham move
Leicester City midfielder James Maddison would prefer a move to Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Newcastle United recently entered talks to sign the England international and they have made an offer of around £50m.
The package remains short of the £60m asking price, but it is also claimed that Maddison is not keen on joining them.
According to reputed journalist Dean Jones, the former Norwich City man would rather join one of Arsenal or Spurs.
Maddison has two years left on his current contract, and it is claimed that he is more likely to stay with the Foxes for now.
Arsenal were hot on the trail of Maddison last summer, but ended up re-signing Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.
They have added another number 10 to their ranks in Fabio Vieira, and seem unlikely to return for Maddison anytime soon.
Spurs seem a more viable destination for Maddison, but Antonio Conte is currently keen on pursuing a deputy centre-forward.
