Juventus complete deal for Filip Kostic
Filip Kostic will make a move to Serie A giants Juventus, leaving Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth approximately 18 million euros. Kostic has been one of Frankfurt's shining lights in their successful recent campaign, and it is said that Juventus will make the player a first choice forward in their starting XI for the Serie A season.
29-year-old forward Kostic, who has 48 caps for Serbia and a three goal haul, has spent the majority of his career playing in the Bundesliga, with spells at VfB Stuttgart, Hamburger SV and his current side Eintracht Frankfurt. It is not until recently that the versatile left-sided player has caught the eye though, and Juventus will be delighted to have sealed a deal for the player.
In signing Kostic, Juventus have beat a number of clubs, including West Ham and French giants Paris St Germain, who reportedly made a late bid for the player.
Kostic will sign a three year deal for the Serie A side, and will be available for the Serie A game against Sassuolo this weekend.
