Chelsea suffer huge injury blow against Spurs
Chelsea have suffered a huge blow with midfielder N'Golo Kante picking up a hamstring injury against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Frenchman has had fitness troubles over the past couple of years, and the trend has continued in the current campaign.
Kante has been one of the Blues' best performers this term, but he could be sidelined for a while after a hamstring problem.
The 31-year-old sustained the setback without any kind of contact which should provide a cause for concern for the Blues.
France will also be monitoring the midfielder's fitness, considering there is also an uncertainty over Paul Pogba's condition.
Kante and Pogba are the mainstays in Les Blues' midfield. The latter is facing a race against time to make the World Cup.
He has opted against a knee surgery to make himself available, and only time will tell whether he will be fit for his country.
Meanwhile, Mateo Kovacic is also on the sidelines for Chelsea with a knee injury. It has been a recurring problem for him from pre-season.
