Man Utd ready to pay €100m for Antony?

Man Utd to finally sign Antony?

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to pay the asking price to sign Ajax winger Antony this summer.

The Brazil international has been manager Erik ten Hag's prime attacking target, but a deal has yet to materialise.

Their opening bid of around €60m was rejected last month while their second proposal of €80m was rejected this week.

Ajax want a staggering €100m to sell him, and it is now reported that the Red Devils are prepared to meet their demands.

Antony did not train with his teammates earlier today, and the 22-year-old has made it clear that he wants to join United.

Ajax are, however, firm on their valuation and the onus is on the Red Devils to finalise his transfer over the next few days.

The former Sao Paolo man is very talented, but it does not justify the price tag. Hopefully, he does not feel the pressure of the fee.

We have seen Jadon Sancho struggle at the Red Devils since his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
