Chelsea agree terms with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Chelsea have reached an agreement over personal terms with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are desperate to sign an experienced striker before the transfer deadline, and Aubameyang has emerged as the top target.
The 33-year-old has now agreed personal terms over a three-year deal, but the club still need to agree a suitable fee with Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are currently holding out for £25m, but Chelsea are reluctant to pay any penny more than £15m for him.
If the Blaugrana refuse to lower their valuation, it is claimed that the west London giants would not hesitate in looking elsewhere.
Aubameyang was a terrific performer at Arsenal with nearly 100 goals during his four years, but left for Barcelona last winter.
He was a key player for them up front, but has lost his starting spot this campaign following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski.
Aubameyang would have the guarantee of leading the line for Chelsea if he were to move to Stamford Bridge before the deadline.
