Antony pushing for Manchester United transfer?
Ajax winger Antony is pushing for a move to Manchester United, having skipped first-team training for the second day running.
The Brazilian has been a top target for United manager Erik ten Hag, but the Red Devils have yet to negotiate a fee with Ajax.
Their opening bid of €60 million was rejected last month, and a renewed offer of €80m this week was also snubbed by the Dutch side.
Despite this, United have not given up on the player, and they have now been handed a boost with Antony reluctant to train with Ajax.
Ajax are said to demand €100m for his services, and reports claim that United may eventually meet the price to sign the former Sao Paulo man.
United are planning a late spending spree in the transfer market. They recently made a statement by signing Casemiro from Real Madrid for €83m.
Antony is the next target for the Mancunian giants, but they are also looking at the possibility of landing Frenkie de Jong and Cody Gakpo.
