Hwang Ui-jo has sealed a move to Nottingham Forest, with the City Ground outfit agreeing a fee for the South Korean today. It is understood that the player will be allowed to play on loan for Greek outfit Olympiacos for the current campaign, before returning to the Premier League side and fighting for a first-team place.

The 29-year-old moves to Forest after club chairman Evangelos Marinakis bankrolled a move for the player, and comes at a time where Forest are amongst the Premier League's most active in the transfer market.

With just a week left of the window, Forest have moved swiftly to sign the Korean on a 3 year deal, for a fee of around £4 million.

Hwang Ui-jo scored 29 goals in 94 games for French club Bordeaux. Prior to that he had a spell playing in Japan for Gamba Osaka, with 23 goals in 59 games.

At international level, the striker has notched 16 goals for his country, and has a growing reputation in Asia to be one of the continent's best forwards and players overall.
