Mykhaylo Mudryk open to Arsenal transfer
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk has opened the door to join Arsenal during the winter transfer window.
The Ukrainian was on the radar of the Gunners this summer, but they were put off by the reported £43m asking price.
The north London side are still keeping tabs on his performances and Mudryk has now accepted that he can't turn them down.
Speaking to journalist Ben Jacobs, he said: "My dream is to play in Premier League, of course. Arsenal is a very good team, very good manager - so from my side, I can’t say no to Arsenal."
Arsenal were hoping to land the 21-year-old for around £25m this summer, but Shakhtar stayed firm on their valuation.
Mudryk's reputation may undoubtedly rise in the coming weeks, particularly after his stellar showing against RB Leipzig.
On Tuesday, he was in superb form against the Bundesliga outfit, registering one goal and two assists in a 4-1 win for Shakhtar.
Brentford and Everton were also keeping tabs on him recently.
