Chelsea owner wants to sign Manchester United star
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has an ambitious plan of signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford next year.
The England international had a poor 2021/22 season with the Red Devils, but he has transformed his fortunes this term.
With three goals and two assists already, he has made a good impact for United and reports claim that he could extend his stay.
Amidst this, La Repubblica cite that Boehly wants to bring Rashford to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer next summer.
Atletico Madrid are also being touted to sign the Old Trafford graduate, but such an agreement seems unlikely in our opinion.
Rashford's current deal expires at the end of the campaign, but the Red Devils have the option to extend for another 12 months.
Hence, they are still in a good position to decide his future. They may decide to sell him only if he has no plans of penning a renewal.
That seems unlikely with Rashford said to be determined to continue.
