Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford can score 20 goals

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford can register 20 goals in the current campaign.

The England international looked lost during the previous season, registering just five goals from 32 games for United.

However, he has managed to redeem himself this term with three goals from just six games. Much of the credit must go to Ten Hag.

The Dutchman has shown belief in the 24-year-old by playing him up front, and this has brought the best out of his abilities.

It is now reported by The Sun that Ten Hag has a strong relationship with Rashford and wants him to make the World Cup.

Furthermore, he has personally told the player that he can easily score 20 goals in a season, a feat he achieved in 2019/2020 and 2020/21.

Rashford is currently the undisputed striker under Ten Hag for the Premier League games with Cristiano Ronaldo no longer in his prime.

Anthony Martial impressed as the centre-forward during the pre-season tour, but he is currently on the sidelines nursing an Achilles injury.
