Arsenal defender out injured for two weeks
Arsenal right-back Cedric Soares could be out of action for around two weeks with an injury, according to football.london.
The Portugal international has dropped down the pecking order this campaign after the transformation of Ben White.
White has played as the regular right-back this term with Takehiro Tomiyasu regarded as the back-up option for him.
Hence, Soares has not been missed by the club, but he is currently on the sidelines with a minor knock for two weeks.
Aside from Soares, the Gunners are missing Thomas Partey, Reiss Nelson and Mohamed Elneny with injuries as of now.
However, Partey has been tipped to return to full training before the internationals. He has been out with a thigh injury.
Arsenal suffered their first defeat of the Premier League season last weekend, but they are still top of the standings.
They will have the chance to sustain their position when they face London rivals Brentford away from home on September 18.
