Chelsea star suffers injury on international duty
Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has suffered an injury in training with the United States.
The 24-year-old was eager to leave the Blues during this summer's transfer window as he was desperate for regular playing time.
However, his departure was blocked by the hierarchy as they had already offloaded the likes of Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku (on loan).
Pulisic now has the chance to redeem himself with the change of manager, but it appears he has suffered a fresh injury blow on international duty.
The young winger sustained an injury in training before the Japan friendly, and USMNT have revealed that he will be assessed ahead of the Saudi clash.
It remains to be seen whether Pulisic recovers in time. Otherwise, the news should concern the Blues, who need plenty of attacking depth this year.
The west London giants play a staggering 13 games before the World Cup break, and Potter will obviously want to rotate his team regularly.
