Juventus board keen on landing Chelsea midfielder
Juventus' hierarchy have an interest in signing Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante on a free transfer, as per Calciomercato.
The Frenchman has been with the Blues for the past six years, but he could leave for nothing when his deal expires next summer.
The Blues have offered him a two-year extension with the option for another 12 months, but Kante has rejected the proposal.
The 31-year-old wants at least three years up front, and the impasse could pave the way for his departure at the turn of the year.
Kante will be free to speak with foreign clubs over a pre-contract in January, and the Bianconeri are prepared to make a move.
However, it remains to be seen whether they will get the approval from manager Max Allegri, who fancies Jorginho instead.
Similar to Kante, Jorginho's deal with the Blues concludes next summer, but he seems more likely to prolong his stay at the club.
Kante has been out with a hamstring injury since mid-August, but he has been touted to make his comeback next month.
