Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has reportedly told his close friends that he should have stayed at Real Madrid this summer.

The Brazil international was an undisputed starter for Carlo Ancelotti's side last season, but he made the surprise decision to join United.

He has since endured a difficult time under manager Erik ten Hag. The 30-year-old has yet to make his full Premier League debut for United.

Amidst this, Todo Fichajes report that the midfielder is already regretting the decision to swap the Bernabeu for Old Trafford this summer.

Casemiro expected to operate as the regular holding midfielder, but he has seen Scott McTominay picked over him for many league games.

Ten Hag has insisted that he will pick his players on merit. McTominay could once again get the nod over Casemiro to face Everton this weekend.

Casemiro has yet to find his feet at United. He has been prone to losing duels while also being dispossessed on countless occasions.
