Sergej Milinkovic-Savic set for Premier League

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic looks set to turn down a move to both Liverpool and Man Utd in favour of a transfer to Newcastle United, after the Toon Army tabled a reported 45 million euro bid for the Lazio midfielder. Milinkovic-Savic has been constantly linked with a move to England, and it appears as if Eddie Howe's side will win the race to sign the Serbian international on a permanent basis.

The 27-year-old has been an almost ever present in the Italian capital since his arrival from Genk in 2015, and after 7 years and 240 games, now looks set to leave for the Premier League. The 6 foot 3 midfielder could replace Sean Longstaff in the Newcastle midfield, as Eddie Howe seeks to bolster his midfield during the January transfer window.

Newcastle are riding high in the Premier League this season, and recently there has been media attention to the progress of the club, with many now talking of a "Big 7" in England, from the previous big six consisting of Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham.
