Liverpool enter race for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Liverpool are set to compete with Manchester United and Chelsea to sign midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic next summer.
The Serbian has been with Lazio for the past seven-and-a-half seasons, but he could leave the club before the next campaign.
He has now entered the final two years of his contract, and there are no signs that he could be convinced over a renewal.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, there could be a fierce battle for his services during next summer's transfer window.
Chelsea, United and Tottenham have been long-term admirers of the box-to-box midfielder and Liverpool are now keen.
The Merseyside giants have their sights on landing a marquee number eight next summer. Milinkovic-Savic would be ideal.
Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham has also been linked, but the teenager is expected to prefer a move to Real Madrid.
Milinkovic-Savic has been a superb performer for Lazio over the years.
He has started the current campaign in fine fashion, registering four goals and five assists from 11 games in all competitions.
