Arsenal without Gabriel Jesus for Bodo trip
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Gabriel Jesus has not travelled with the team to face Bodo/Glimt tomorrow.
The Gunners have a perfect run in the Europa League with two wins and have the opportunity to prolong the streak in Norway.
Ahead of the encounter, Arteta has revealed the absence of Jesus, who has featured in every game for the Gunners this term.
Speaking in his press conference, the Spaniard said that the Brazilian is being purely rested and he has not suffered any injury.
Jesus won the match-winning penalty in the 3-2 win over Liverpool last week, but also picked up some knocks in the process.
The Brazilian received a bang to his head during the back end of the encounter and was also spotted limping after a minor kick to his ankle.
Hence, Arteta made the right decision to rest him ahead of the Premier League encounter against Leeds United on the road on Sunday.
