Man Utd want to sign Lautaro Martinez?

Manchester United are reportedly in contact with the agent of Lautaro Martinez regarding a future transfer.

The Argentine has been a leading player for the Nerazzurri and this has led to constant speculation over his position.

United are known to be among his admirers and Gazzetta dello Sport claim that they have now spoken with his entourage.

Aside from the Red Devils, Paris Saint-Germain have also been in contact with Martinez's representative to find out any opening.

Inter are currently in a tight financial situation and it won't be a surprise if they sell Martinez for a significant transfer proposal.

A package of around €100 million could seriously test their resolve, but the question is whether United can pay that in January.

After spending over €250m during the summer transfer window, the board seem reluctant to make a huge expense this winter.
