Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Chelsea today

Manchester United will be in Premier League action against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening. The Red Devils can move into the top four with a victory over the Blues.

Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has not missed a single minute for United this campaign. There are no doubts over his position in goal. The Spaniard has redeemed himself after a difficult start to the season.

In the backline, it should be the same four from the 2-0 win over Spurs. Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw are expected to keep their places barring any late injuries.

Casemiro has started to find his feet after a slow start to his United career. The Brazilian has been a regular starter this month and looks to have cemented his spot as the holding midfielder.

Fred was under-fire after a poor showing against Newcastle United and there were calls for him to be dropped. However, Erik ten Hag stuck by him in midweek and he redeemed himself with a goal.

The Brazilian is expected to partner his compatriot Casemiro in midfield. Further ahead, Bruno Fernandes should continue as the number 10 after his best performance of the season on Wednesday.

Antony was unlucky not to find the back of the net against Spurs. He should be a confirmed starter from the right wing. Jadon Sancho is likely to get the backing from Ten Hag to feature on the opposite side.

Both Sancho and Marcus Rashford were unconvincing against Spurs. The latter missed three big chances to score. Rashford, who will lead the line today, needs to do much better to claim a World Cup spot with England.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Fred; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford.
