Chelsea favourites to sign Cristiano Ronaldo?

Chelsea are considered as favourites to sign wantaway Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Sport.

The Portugal international has struggled for regular minutes with the Red Devils and he is now considering his future.

There are suggestions that he could leave as early as January and Sport claim that the Blues are among favourites to land him.

Blues owner Todd Boehly wanted to pursue Ronaldo's services last summer, but was blocked from doing so by Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel has since been replaced with Graham Potter as the new manager and the Blues could now revive their interest in Ronaldo.

Boehly developed a close relationship with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes over the summer and this could prove beneficial.

Aside from the Blues, Ronaldo has also been linked with Napoli, who are currently top of the Serie A standings with 29 points.

The Naples outfit believe Ronaldo could guide them to the Serie A title while helping them go deep in the Champions League.
