Arsenal could be without key defender for Chelsea game
Arsenal could be without Takehiro Tomiyasu when they face Chelsea in Sunday's Premier League clash.
The north London giants have exceeded expectations this campaign and they are presently top of the standings with 31 points.
They will be aiming to sustain their first position at Stamford Bridge, but ahead of the game, they have suffered a potential blow.
Tomiyasu picked up a minor hamstring issue against Zurich last night and he is now doubtful to face the Blues away from home.
The Japan star has been the regular left-back for the Gunners in the league lately with Kieran Tierney playing as the back-up.
If he is unavailable, Tierney could start against the Blues. The Scot recently bagged a crucial winner against Zurich in Europe.
Aside from Tierney, Mikel Arteta could also call upon Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has recently returned from a calf problem.
Zinchenko may not be risked from the starting line-up, but he could be an option for the Gunners during the closing stages.
