Man Utd enter race to sign Dusan Vlahovic

Vlahovic to Manchester United?

Manchester United have entered the hunt to sign former Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic in January, according to The Telegraph.

The Gunners were determined to land the Serbian from Fiorentina last winter but he rejected them to join Juventus for £66m.

He has since netted 17 goals from 36 appearances for them, but there are doubts over his future beyond the current campaign.

If the Bianconeri were to miss out on the Champions League, there are suggestions that the club would be willing to sell him.

It is now reported that United are keeping tabs on the striker's situation at Juventus and could capitalise if he becomes available.

United are looking for a long-term striker in the squad and they are prepared to spend a significant transfer fee to sign one next year.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to leave in either January or next summer. The Portuguese has struggled to impress under Erik ten Hag.

With just three goals this campaign, the hierarchy are willing to release him to free up his staggering wages of £500,000-per-week.
