Arsenal remain interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk ahead of the January transfer window.

The Gunners were eager to land the Ukrainian star over the summer but they were put off by the transfer demands of Shakhtar.

The north London club wanted to pay around €35 million for his services but that was well below the reported €50m valuation.

Fabrizio Romano now reports that the Gunners continue to monitor him and it is unclear whether the club will make a fresh move.

Mudryk's price tag has increased amid his performances this term and Shakhtar now value him in the region of €60-65m.

The 21-year-old has been in fantastic form for Shakhtar, registering seven goals and seven assists from just 14 appearances.

This has included five goal contributions in the Champions League. Despite his efforts, Shakhtar finished third in their group.

They have now entered the Europa League through the play-off round and could face Arsenal in the last 16 if they beat Rennes.
