Graham Potter confirms Chelsea star is doubtful vs Man City

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has confirmed that Jorginho is doubtful to face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup tomorrow.

The Blues recently suffered a 1-0 Premier League defeat to Arsenal at home and they will be determined to respond in midweek.

However, the club face a difficult challenge against the Cityzens and ahead of the game, they could be without Jorginho with a foot issue.

The Italian started against the Gunners at the weekend, but Potter has now revealed that he needs a late fitness test before the City tie.

Chelsea were in sublime form when Potter took charge as manager but over the past few weeks, their performances have been poor.

They have dropped to seventh in the Premier League as a result and things are looking gloomy for the London giants at the moment.

The World Cup break can't come sooner for the Blues. It could offer an opportunity to reset as some key injured players should return.
