Manchester United have been touted to make a fresh approach for Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix in January.

The Red Devils were hot on the trail of the Portuguese sensation last summer but their club-record bid of €125 million was rejected.

Felix's form has dipped drastically over the course of this season, but there has still been persistent links with Premier League sides.

United in particular have been constantly linked with him and Cadena SER claim that the club are weighing up a fresh winter offer.

The club could make a substantially less bid than last summer and it remains to be seen whether Atletico Madrid will consider their bid.

Felix has experienced a tough season with Atletico. He has bagged only three goals and three assists from 17 appearances thus far.

He has been out-of-favour under manager Diego Simeone and no longer appears a guaranteed starter for the Madrid heavyweights.

Aside from United, Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the 23-year-old. They are weighing up a loan bid with a buy option.
