Cody Gakpo open to Man Utd or Liverpool move
PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo has opened the door to join Manchester United or Liverpool at the end of the campaign.
The Dutchman was heavily linked with the Red Devils last summer, but they could not afford him after the huge outlay on Antony.
The club are still monitoring him ahead of the New Year and Gakpo has now said that he is prepared to take the next step next season.
The Netherlands star added that it would be an honour to play for some of Europe's elite sides including United and Liverpool.
He told NOS: "I think at the end of this season I will be ready to take that next step. Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool. It would be an honour to play there."
Gakpo has been in the form of his life this season, registering 13 goals and 17 assists from just 30 appearances in all competitions.
PSV valued him in the region of €50m last summer and they could easily hold out for around €100m at the end of the campaign.
