Man Utd preparing to re-sign Memphis Depay?
Manchester United could reportedly make an approach to re-sign Memphis Depay from Barcelona this winter.
The Dutchman was heavily linked with a summer move away from the Blaugrana, but he eventually decided to stay.
He has since played just 130 minutes of first-team football and has been out since early October with a hamstring injury.
Depay is expected to be fit by the start of the World Cup and it remains to be seen where his future will lie in January.
United are looking for a versatile forward this winter and have identified Depay as a solution, as per Adrian Sanchez.
With his contract due to expire next summer, the Red Devils may have the chance to land him on a cut-price agreement.
Meanwhile, the arrival of another forward could pave the way for the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in the New Year.
Ronaldo is determined to play Champions League football for a 20th straight season and has been touted to reunite with Sporting.
