Arsenal and Chelsea to battle for Salzburg star?
Arsenal and Chelsea could compete for the services of Red Bull Salzburg striker Noah Okafor in January.
The Switzerland star has been impressive for Salzburg this term with 10 goals and two assists in all competitions.
He has produced some stand-out displays in the Champions League and reports claim that he could pursue a bigger challenge soon.
Salzburg currently value him at around €35 million and it is claimed that both Arsenal and Chelsea are looking to land him in January.
West Ham United are also in the mix for the 22-year-old, but they are unlikely to stand a chance against their London counterparts.
Okafor will be playing for his country at the World Cup this winter and his performances at the tournament could invite more offers.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are among clubs that could enter the race for him, based on his displays at the World Cup.
Okafor started his career on the wings but he is now a regular striker.
