Chelsea to swoop for Netherlands defender?
Chelsea could make a fresh approach to sign Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries at the turn of the year.
The Blues were touted to land the Dutchman in the last transfer window but decided against the move in the end.
However, they are likely to return for him in January as they look to balance the workload of right wing-back Reece James.
James has suffered several injuries over the past year and his latest setback has ruled him out of the World Cup finals.
He will be available for the Blues when the season restarts in December, but the club want adequate cover for the future.
Dumfries has been on their radar for some time and Calciomercato claim that he could be available for around €35m.
The Blues are likely to make a formal bid for him in January but there may be competition from Manchester United.
The Red Devils are looking for an attacking right-back and are willing to part ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka this winter.
