AC Milan plotting move for Chelsea attacker
AC Milan are planning a fresh attempt to sign Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea after the long-term injury for Alexis Saelemaekers.
The Rossoneri were keen on landing the 29-year-old on loan last summer, but the Blues made it clear that they preferred his permanent exit.
As a result, a transfer did not materialise but Evening Standard claim that the Rossoneri are prepared to come again at the turn of the year.
They are expected to propose a six-month loan with an option to buy and are optimistic that the Blues will accept their fresh approach.
Ziyech has been on the fringes of the Blues first-team. He has played just over 100 minutes of top-flight football in the current season.
It is clear that the Moroccan has no future under manager Graham Potter and a winter departure seems a genuine possibility at the moment.
Ziyech is presently with his national team at the World Cup, but his entourage are already in contact with Milan to finalise a deal.
