Man Utd firmly interested in Portuguese attacker?
Manchester United are in a three-way battle with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.
The Portuguese has fallen out-of-favour under Diego Simeone this season and he is desperate to move on at the beginning of 2023.
According to AS, United are firmly interested in the Portugal international, who could be available for a fee in the region of €100m.
However, it is added that the club will face fierce competition from Bayern and PSG, who are also long-term admirers of him.
Felix is currently with his country at the 2022 World Cup finals. He recently scored in the 3-2 victory over Ghana in the opener.
The attacker has stayed mum regarding his future plans, but he is expected to push for an exit on his return from the tournament.
It remains to be seen whether any of the above clubs are willing to spend big on him during the upcoming winter transfer window.
