Arsenal to rival Aston Villa for former Chelsea striker
Arsenal could reportedly compete with Aston Villa to sign Roma striker Tammy Abraham at the end of the season.
The England international was heavily linked with the Gunners in the summer of 2021 before he joined Roma from Chelsea.
Abraham had a good debut season in Italy with 27 goals from 53 games, but he has struggled this term for the Giallorossi.
The striker has netted only four times from 20 appearances and it is claimed that Roma could be open to selling him soon.
The Giallorossi spent €40m on his services last year and they could be tempted to sell him for a similar fee next summer.
Arsenal remain admirers of Abraham despite his poor form and they could now face competition from the striker's former side.
Abraham was superb for Villa in their promotion season from the Championship, and they are now eyeing a reunion.
Villa are currently managed by former Gunners boss Unai Emery. The Spaniard has had a good start with two league wins.
