Arsenal in talks with agent of Portuguese star

Arsenal are currently in talks with the agent of Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Gunners are aiming to bolster their attack in January and Felix has been identified as one of the potential candidates.

It is now reported that talks have been held with his agent Jorge Mendes, who is weighing up offers from everywhere.

Mendes wants to take Felix out of Atletico in January and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners make a serious bid.

The north London giants are desperate to fill the void left by Gabriel Jesus, who is out on the sidelines for three months.

The Brazilian suffered a knee injury at the World Cup and he has since undergone a surgery for the same problem.

As a result, the club need to invest in the New Year and they could be tempted to land Felix on an initial loan deal.

Felix is also on the radar of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
