Arsenal star duo set to return to training

Arsenal star duo Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are set to return to first-team training ahead of the Premier League restart.

The Gunners resume their league campaign against West Ham United at home on Boxing Day. Ahead of the game, there is good news.

Martinelli and Saka will be joining their teammates in training and they could be in line to start against the Hammers on December 26.

The Gunners could have most of their first-team regulars available for the game, barring William Saliba and Gabriel Jesus.

Saliba has just completed his World Cup campaign with France and he could be given a week's rest before reporting to the club.

Meanwhile, Jesus is unavailable with a knee injury. He is out for the next three months after undergoing a surgery for the same.

Eddie Nketiah will have a huge role to play up front in Jesus' absence. The Gunners could also be tempted to land another striker.
