Arsenal and Man Utd handed big boost on Frenchman
Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a big boost in signing Marcus Thuram during the January transfer window.
The Frenchman has had a top season for Borussia Monchengladbach, registering 13 goals and four assists from 17 games.
He was also involved for Les Bleus at the recent World Cup. Thuram provided a vital assist in the final but it was not enough in the end.
It is now reported by Bild that he could be available on a cut-price deal in January with his contract due to expire in the summer.
Monchengladbach are ready to sell him for around €12m and both Arsenal and United are said to be interested in landing the Frenchman.
The 25-year-old has a strong physical presence but is also quick. He has good dribbling skills and can play up front or out wide.
He would prove a brilliant piece of business for either club and more so for the Gunners, who are in an unexpected title race.
