Arsenal pushing to sign Adrien Rabiot in January?

Arsenal are reportedly pushing to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot during the January transfer window.

The Gunners need to strengthen their midfield department in the New Year such that they can stay in the Premier League title race.

Rabiot has been a long-term target for the club and La Repubblica claim that they are now prepared to make a genuine approach for him.

The Frenchman will enter the final six months of his deal in January and Juventus are open to selling him for around €15 million.

Rabiot would also welcome a move to the Premier League this winter, provided the Gunners are ready to meet his salary demands.

Manchester United came on the cusp of landing the World Cup finalist last summer, but a deal broke down over the personal terms.

They refused to pay him around €160,000-a-week. Arsenal have to meet a similar salary in order to land his signature next month.

Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the former PSG man.
