Bundesliga striker wants to join Manchester United

Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram is reportedly keen on joining Manchester United next month.

The 25-year-old has been a key player for the German outfit over the years. This season, he has 17 goal contributions from as many games.

His progress has caught the eye of many European clubs, but reports claim that Thuram is eager to move to the Premier League this winter.

The Frenchman has United as his dream club and he is hopeful that they will make an approach for his services when the transfer window reopens.

Thuram will enter the last six months of his contract in January and Monchengladbach are prepared to sanction his sale for around €10m.

That should be easily affordable for the Red Devils at the turn of the year, and it remains to be seen whether they enter the pursuit of him.

United may not be alone in the transfer race for the player. Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid also have an eye on the highly-rated Frenchman.
