Chelsea midfielder set to leave next summer
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will reportedly walk away on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
The Italian has been a mainstay for the west London giants since 2018, but the hierarchy have refused to meet his wage demands.
Jorginho has demanded close to £150,000-a-week to pen an extension, but the Blues are clear that they won't pay him that much.
As a result, there has been a contract impasse and The Athletic claim that the midfielder is expected to leave on a free transfer.
The Euro 2020 winner won't be short of offers, considering Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are long-term admirers.
There is also interest from Juventus from the Serie A while Napoli could also be tempted to re-sign on a Bosman agreement.
Aside from Jorginho, his Blues teammate N'Golo Kante is also expected to head out of the club when his deal expires next summer.
Barcelona are apparently looking to sign both players. The duo could be reunited with Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso.
