Mohammed Kudus nearing Man Utd move
Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is nearing closer to a move to Manchester United, as Erik Ten Hag's club have reportedly agreed an 19 million euro fee for the midfielder. The 22-year-old has emerged through the Eredivisie's ranks to become an important member of the first-team squad, scoring 10 goals in 47 games for the Dutch club.
Prior to Ajax, Kudus played for Norwegian club Nordsjaelland and was a regular member of their side before making the move to Ajax for 9 million euros, signing a five year contract.
United are looking to add further reinforcements to their squad after an excellent start to life for manager Ten Hag at Old Trafford, and the new priority is to add sufficient cover for Casemiro and Fred in United's midfield.
Erik Ten Hag has of course already raided his former club Ajax on two occasions, having completed a move for Malacia and Antony in the summer tarnsfer window. Ten Hag is very familiar with Kudus, and United will need to battle with Arsenal who are known to have some interest in the player.
