Dutch striker determined to join Man Utd this month
Burnley striker Wout Weghorst is reportedly determined to join Manchester United during the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are known to be eyeing a new centre-forward this month and they have been linked with many big names.
However, according to The Athletic, the club are currently looking into a short-term deal for Weghorst, who is admired by Erik ten Hag.
The Dutch striker is also determined to work under the Red Devils boss, but the main concern is whether he will be allowed to join.
Weghorst joined Besiktas on loan at the beginning of the campaign and the Turkish club have the option to buy him next summer.
The Istanbul outfit consider him as a key player in the squad and seem reluctant to lose him this month without a compensation.
Burnley have opened talks with Besiktas regarding the same and reports claim that United may have to pay a big loan fee.
Weghorst has been superb for club and country this term. He has managed an impressive 15 goal contributions since August.
