Facundo Pellistri to leave Manchester United permanently?

Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri is reportedly open to securing a permanent move away from Old Trafford.

The Uruguayan has been with the Red Devils since the summer of 2020, but he has made just one competitive appearance for them.

As a result, the 21-year-old is open to parting ways with the club, and ESPN Brasil claim that Botafogo have made an offer.

The Brazilian outfit want to sign Pellistri on a short-term loan until the summer with the option to buy for a fixed transfer fee.

Pellistri is open to leaving the Premier League to develop in his career, but it is unclear whether he fancies a move to Rio de Janeiro.

There are many European clubs such as Bologna and Valencia interested in him. The next few days could give an idea over his stance.

Pellistri is currently out-of-favour under manager Erik ten Hag and he has been a regular on the substitutes' bench this campaign.

The youngster is determined to play regularly. For this to happen, he may have no choice but to leave United in the near future.
