Arsenal make fresh bid to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk

Mudryk close to Arsenal deal

Arsenal have made a fresh proposal to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners are hot on the trail of the Ukrainian star and they are determined to sign him before the transfer window closes.

They have already made two approaches for him and Romano claims that the club have made a fresh bid for the 21-year-old.

The Gunners have offered €70m plus €20m in add-ons and are optimistic that their latest offer will be sufficient to convince Shakhtar.

Mudryk has already agreed personal terms with the north London giants but he is unlikely to force through a move from Shakhtar.

The winger is prepared to stay patient amid the negotiations. There is a possibility that he would join before the end of the week.

Mudryk won't be available for the north London derby on Sunday, but could be in the squad to face Manchester United next weekend.

Arsenal face a huge test of their title credentials this month.
