Arsenal handed injury boost for Spurs clash?

Mikel Arteta news

Saka should be fit to face Spurs

Arsenal have been handed an injury boost with Bukayo Saka expected to be fit for the north London derby tomorrow.

The Gunners graduate limped off during the FA Cup third round win over Oxford but manager Mikel Arteta has allayed any fears.

The Spaniard clarified that he should be OK for the derby and reports now claim that Saka should make the starting line-up tomorrow.

Arsenal are currently five points clear at the top of the league standings and have an excellent chance to extend the gap against Spurs.

Manchester City's loss to Manchester United has handed them the opportunity to increase the lead further but it won't be easy.

The Gunners have not won a league game on the road to Spurs since 2014. They will be hoping to end the unwanted streak on Sunday.

After Spurs, the Gunners will be in action against Manchester United at home. These two games could have a big impact in the title race.
