Arsenal set sights on landing Bundesliga winger
Arsenal have set their sights on signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, according to Sky Sports.
The Gunners were heavily interested in landing Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk this month, but Chelsea hijacked the deal.
The club are now searching for an alternative solution and Sky Sports claim that contact has been made with Leverkusen for Diaby's services.
The Frenchman can play on the left or right wing. He has the ability to lead the line as well. He could be a top signing with his good pace and dribbling.
The main problem for the Gunners at the moment is the asking price. Leverkusen may not sell unless they receive around €100 million.
The north London giants seem unlikely to pay such a fee for his services. They were only willing to pay around €70m up front for Mudryk recently.
Hence, it would come as a huge surprise if the Gunners break the bank for Diaby. They may look at other solutions in the transfer market.
