Former Arsenal midfielder rejects Premier League return

Former Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has no plans of returning to the Premier League.
The Spain international is currently in the final six months of his contract at Real Madrid but the club are yet to extend his stay.
He has been impressive for them with one goal and four assists from 18 games this season and remains hopeful of an extension.
Amidst this, Marca report that Ceballos has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, but he has no desire to return.
Ceballos spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal. The first one was pretty decent but he looked out of sorts during his second year.
As a result, Arsenal decided against re-signing him and Ceballos has since admitted that he could not handle the physicality of the league.
Hence, it is unsurprising that he is not considering a return to English football. Aston Villa could be one of those interested in him.
The Villans are now under the guidance of Unai Emery, who was his manager at Arsenal during the first half of the 2019/2020 season.
