Nottingham Forest set to sign Keylor Navas
Nottingham Forest are set to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas on loan.
Forest have made a staggering 25 signings since their top-flight return. They are set to extend the streak on deadline day with the acquisition of Navas.
The Costa Rican star has been playing as a back-up at Les Parisiens this season. He is now ready to take up a fresh challenge in the Premier League.
The 36-year-old was first on the Premier League radar back in August 2015.
He was set to join Manchester United in a part-exchange deal for David de Gea, but the move fell through due to a faulty fax machine on deadline day.
After several years, he has the opportunity to finally relive his dream. Navas has now agreed personal terms with Forest over a short-term move.
It remains to be seen whether the necessary paperwork is submitted in time this time around. Forest can request an extension for his medical.
